Professional Epilators
Long recognized as the most effective method of
permanent hair removal, needle-type electrolysis is
performed by Dermatologists and licensed Electrologists using specialized
devices called epilators. A fine surgical steel probe is
inserted into the hair follicle (it does not pierce the
skin) and precisely controlled electrical currents
are applied that render the hair growth cells incapable of regrowing.
Unlike tweezing, laser depilation, waxing, or other temporary methods of
hair removal, properly performed electrolysis is

Galvanic Unit (Iontophoresis)
For over 30 years, Fischer has provided a general
purpose Galvanic Therapy Generator for use by
Dermatologists, Physical Therapists and Chiropractors.
Our current model, the MD-1a, has been refined for use primarily in the treatment of palmar/plantar hyperhidrosis
(a condition that produces excessive sweating of the palms and feet) using a technique called "Tap Water
Iontophoresis".
