In early 1996, Dateline
NBC broadcast a segment featuring a
"new" treatment for a medical condition called
"Hyperhidrosis"
characterized by excessive sweating of the palms. Dr. Lewis Stolman, one of the pioneers in the use of Tap Water Iontophoresis was pictured along with one of his patients. The device he used
is manufactured by R.A. Fischer Company, and is a product we have
supplied for over 30 years to the medical profession for various
applications. In its current form, the Model MD-1a is
well suited to this treatment technique.
