The Fischer MD-2 is an advanced, programmable Iontophoresis device specially designed for medical treatment of Hyperhidrosis.
 A 32-character LCD display, touchpad keyboard, and microprocessor control of output level along with self-regulating current combine to provide unmatched ease of use and precise treatment.
The MD-2 includes several pre-set treatment modes and its customizable user-memory allows one-touch set-up, along with two methods of automatic polarity reversal for virtual hands free operation.
The Model MD-2 is a medical device which requires a prescription. If you're a patient, you should consult with a dermatologist or podiatrist to evaluate your condition and determine a proper course of treatment, which may include iontophoresis. Your doctor can issue a prescription for the device, which we require before an order can be accepted.

Tapwater Iontophoresis is a recognized medical therapy for treatment and control of primary hyperhidrosis and the Fischer Galvanic Unit is registered with FDA as a prescription Medical Device. Many healthcare plans consider this treatment as a medical necessity while others may not, so you may wish to contact your provider for pre-authorization if in doubt. R.A. Fischer Company does not bill health insurance companies; patients typically purchase the device and then obtain reimbursement from their health plan.
